Conditions were breezy in Liverpool as Emma Brennan had her first run in the Irish singlet as part of the junior mixed relay at the Schools International Cross Country.
Running the final leg, Emma was in fourth starting her 1500m but showed her strength to move past the Welsh athlete and put in a typically determined run to finish strongly to clinch bronze for Ireland.
Congratulations to Emma on another excellent run in what was a fantastic experience and one very well deserved.
