Longford AC Half Marathon – Summer Running Series 2012

The Longford AC Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 24th June at 11am.  This is the final race in the summer running series for 2012.  The race start time is 11am with registration on the day from 10am.  Registration will take place at the Computer Clinic, Main Street, Longford.  Post race refreshments will also take place at the Computer Clinic.  Last year half marathon attracted an excellent field of competitors and the winner of the women’s race was Olympian athlete Linda Byrne who ran a really class time.  This race was fundamental step as part of her training plan to qualify for London 2012.  Don’t forget you can run, jog or walk.  The race has an AAI permit and race entry is 20 euro.
