Win a framed, Cole Hocker-signed Longford AC singlet!
The men’s 1500m final was one of the most memorable races at the Paris Olympics and saw US athlete Cole Hocker emerge to win the gold medal.
Cole recently signed our club singlet and also a poster for this Friday’s road race event. As part of the event, there will be Primary School’s races on closed roads in the centre of Longford town:
- 8.10pm: 3rd & 4th Class, 680 metres
- 8.25pm: 2nd Class and younger, 450 metres
- 8.40pm: 5th & 6th Class, 1000 metres
The school with the largest number of entries, proportionate to their total enrollment, will win this perpetual award of the framed singlet.

Number collection for pre-registered entrants is at the Athletics Centre on Friday from 5.30pm. Registration can also be done on the evening.
Access to the Athletics Centre will be by the main St. Mel’s College avenue entrance only.
