A number of club members took in Drumshanbo’s Tony Mc Gowan Run on Sunday which included the unique feature of running on Ireland’s first-ever floating boardwalk. Good runs recorded by all with Marian Dennigan in the 5k and Michael O’Hara, Charlie Barone and Maureen Finn in the 10k.
Club members were out in force in the different distances. Kevin Ward and Marian Dennigan took in the 5k, it was 10k for Michael O’Hara, Charlie Barone and Maureen Finn while in the half marathon were Barry Sheil & John Scott (both top-ten finishes), Sinead Nolan & Anne Brady (both top-ten finishes), Adrian Wróbel, Dermot Washington, Stephen McDermott and John Farrell. Good running and times by all in the breezy conditions.
