Track & Field
The Connacht Juvenile Track and Field Championships will take place over two days at IT Sligo. On Saturday 11 June, competition will be for the under 10 – 13 age groups while Saturday 18 June is when the under 14 – 19 competition is scheduled. Further details have been emailed to parents of club members in those age groups.
The Connacht Senior, Junior and Masters event will be in Athlone on Sunday 12 June.

Adrianna Mulligan made a return to racing on Sunday with a strong run for a second-place finish at the Ferbane 5k in 17:45. Declan Newman also ran a good time on a warm morning.
Juraj Karcak completed an incredible 185km in the 24-hour event at the Wexford Festival of Running over Saturday and Sunday. In a real test of physical endurance and mental strength on a loop of only 1.3km, Juraj covered the second highest distance of the entrants.
Congratulations to Sian Gallagher and her Longford teammates on winning the Leinster Under-16 C ladies football title at the weekend. Sian will be among our athletes competing on the track in Sligo.
